Educational Copywriting
Process Overview:
Brands often struggle with the question of ‘how to provide value’ for their consumer beyond the products they sell.
In this day and age, it’s not enough to make a great product.
To stay competitive, successful companies are connecting with their consumers by sharing helpful tips [education] about their products/niches, offering reselling/crowd-sharing/crowd-sourcing options, and overall creating a ‘community’ around their brand.
Several of my clients have received overwhelming positive responses from their customers after adopting the ‘education’ route as a way to create 'value’ and simultaneously build loyalty. As a writer, it’s a truly rewarding process to research, write, & create multi-media pieces and see how it transforms a company’s online presence & engagement rate.
This sample is an educational piece that acted as foundational knowledge before building into more advanced topics on social media, using small tidbit-sized info conveyed via image carousel. Other examples included Instagram reels (animated & live-action), and informational PDFs for client communication via email.
