Lucid Walks and Soft Construction (For Beebop Studio)

As a stylist and brand consultant, I worked to dig deeper into the story to determine the mood, brand colours, demographic traits, and psychographic characteristics to communicate the story to the designer’s audience. Armed with information, I secured 3 models, a makeup artist, a photographer, a highly exclusive heritage home location, and lighting equipment for the day of the photoshoot. I managed the project from start to finish, assembling mood boards, a pitch for acquiring a creative team, a playlist to set the tone on shoot day, a social media plan, copywriting for client-facing materials, and oversaw the editing of final photographs. Overall, the client was overwhelmingly pleased with the photographs as they effectively translated the mood and tone of her highly complex vision.

Backstory: An editorial project for a legacy collection of couture by Erika Solway (Beebop Studio), 2019. This project encapsulated a modern adaptation of surrealist-era paintings from well-known artists such as Joan Miro, Man Ray, and Salvador Dali for the mature professional woman. Solway reimagined famous paintings into sophisticated digitized prints, which were transferred into luxurious natural fabrics such as silk, cotton, and wool, and designed her collection from there.
